New Baby!

After nine amazing months of pregnancy, my baby was ready to see his new world. He was born and many neighbors and relatives showed mercy on me and helped me with everything and were rejoicing with every new step! On the eigth day of my son's life, it was time for his circumcision and naming. Many said that his name should be Zechariah, after his father. But I want it to be John, eventhough no one in the family is named so. Zechariah then asked for a tablet, becuase he is still mute, and wrote on it that the baby's name shall be John. Immediately after this his mouth was opened, his tongue freed and he was able to speak! Such an exciting day for us all. Many wonderful things happened that day, and people realized that John was no ordinary child, the Lord surely had a plan for him. He was meant to be someone in this world, the Lord had showed s all mercy.

A Need For Encouragement

Mary came to visit me this last week. Why is it that all these wonderful things happen to me? The mother of the Lord comes to me? And as soon as she entered the baby leaped in my womb. I had not felt that kind of sensation before! I told mary, "most blessed are among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb".
Mary came to me because she was afraid of what she would go through as being the virgin who conceived a child without relations with a man. She was afraid that the people would question this and turn away from her. I offered her words of encouragment saying that God is there for us both in these amazing times and we should never lose hope. Mary stayed for a while and we caught up on things. i am excited for the way everything is turning out!

Mother To Be!

I have been barren for so long! The angel showed up to Zachariah and me and said that I would bare a child. His name shall be John. Zechariah didn't believe him and so he turned mute! This had happened when he was in the sanctuary praying. Zechariah turned mute because he did not believe in what the angel had told him. This teaches us all a valuable lesson of recognition that the Lord is capable of many things. I cannot believe that this is all happening ot me, the Lord has chosen me to bare the forerunner of the messiah! Even an old woman such as myself will take part in the Lord's plan. I am thrilled!
